This study evaluated the impact of different planting densities (7 to 24 buds m- ) on the productivity and profitability of sugarcane, variety RB92579, under field conditions at Usina Monte Alegre (PB). The results show that the highest yields of cane and sugar were obtained with 17 and 24 buds m- , but the best rates of return and profitability indices occurred at densities of 7 and 10 buds m- . The integrated analysis reveals that cultivation with 17 buds m- balances high productivity and a 45% profit, making it the most suitable option for plant cane. An essential book for professionals in the sugar-energy sector looking to reconcile agronomic efficiency and economic sustainability.
