Sufficient Grace

Being Christian means so much more than a church obligation on Sundays. Being Christian means following the teachings of Jesus Christ, but it is also a daily way of life. It's easy to forget that we live in a broken world. Bad things will happen to all of us; to our families. We put our trust in the One who sees all of our tomorrows perfectly. The apostle Paul knew this and encouraged us with these words, "We live by faith, not by sight". We walk with Him, asking Him to carry us when we can't and set our feet upon solid ground. It's easy to be a Christian when every thing is going well, but it's so easy to lose faith when facing hardships, illness, and trials. Remember that a lump of coal, subjected to immense heat and pressure, turns into a diamond. God uses the most hostile conditions imaginable to create the world's most exquisite object. This is not just a story of life and love but grace, mercy and our personal diamond, shaped and molded by God, the Master Jeweler. "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me. Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
