Hey all Nina Harper FANS!!

Hey Nina Harper Fans! I just wanted to clue you all in on why we are missing out on the 3rd installment of the Succubus books. There was a 3rd book that was supposed to be released in October 2009 called Succubus on the Town. After not hearing anything or seeing the book in the store, I tried to contact Ms. Harper to ask about the book. I discovered that the writer is not actually named Nina Harper, she uses a few names to write under. In any case, I emailed her and she wrote back with the answer. She responded that Del Rey which is the publishing company, had to scrap the production of her book (along with other writers books) due to the economic downturn over the last year. She thanked me for letting her know that there are fans out there patiently waiting, and asked that we each write to the publishing company letting them know we want that 3rd book!! If you want the 3rd book published and out on shelves ready for purusing, please write to the publishing company. The first two were great, and I thought that with the craze for vampires, demons and devils lately, the publishing company would be able to capitalize on the mania. WRITE WRITE WRITE!! THANKS HARPER FANS!!

Fantasy Life with lots of DRAMA

Lily and her friends (also Satan's chosen ones) continue on their quest for a life rid of meddling mortals. The story has such great characters that you want to know more about them, especially the demons. And who wouldn't want to live the charmed life like Lily? I want to eat all gourmet foods and still look like a million bucks! Ms. Harper mixes a great cast of characters with an enticing plot. I was maybe slightly less addicted to this second book, but maybe because I was looking for a final resolution of Lily and Nat....but I guess there is Book Three.

Succubi were never so likeable...

The second book in Nina Harper's Succubus series is, again, a real treat (also literally - her descriptions of food and drinks and the restaurants of New York are mouthwatering)! Lily is a delightful protagonist that you grow really fond of - despite her allegiance to Hell. And her life, so filled with glamour, is wonderful to read about. I can't wait for the next book, entitled Succubus on the town. Please keep writing books about Lily and her friends, Ms. Harper!!

lighthearted urban fantasy

Lily loves her current lifestyle as living in New York is exhilarating and working as the accessories editor for Trend magazine is hot. Of course the three millennium old succubus knows what is hot as her night job is that of a Chosen One delivery person; she brings to her employer Satan, three desiccated souls of creepy studs; a quota she meets with ease. Still she would like to get out of her Faustian deal with Satan because she would just like to fall in love with someone who loves her back. When Lily meets the mortal private investigator Nathan, he is different towards her; she falls in love, but he proves how he differs from her typical brain down there creep as he cannot deal with her demonic soul. He ends their relationship, something the succubus has never dealt with before. As she finds solace with one of her own kind Martin, the Hierarchy of Hell wants her dead; her friend's demon lover has been abducted; and a former lover returns wanting her. Life in Manhattan is as always excitingly out of this world. The second SUCCUBUS IN THE CITY tale is a lighthearted urban fantasy starring a terrific female who holds the story line together. There is plenty of action and suspense yet the prime cast members are fully developed especially the heroine (ironic as she turns creeps into ash), the PI, and the demons (wonder if they are considered illegal aliens?). Nina Harper makes believers of her audience that demons in particular one sexy succubus are trying to make it in Manhattan. Harriet Klausner
