Subterfuge: The Mystery of U398

In December 1967, an unconfirmed sighting of a WW2 German U Boat in the Southern Ocean by a New Zealand fishing trawler was officially dismissed and forgotten. No report of any kind has ever come to light on the incident, but this story will tell a possible reason surrounding it, and maybe question historical facts as we know them. Subterfuge will follow the path of a U Boat and its unsuspecting crew, whose mission at the end of the war was so classified, that no written orders were ever issued for its journey into the abyss of history. The exact whereabouts of this submarine, either its wreckage or its fate, is still unexplained to this day. Subterfuge will broaden factual information, and alternatively recreate the deception that even governments today will deny could have happened.
