Sub-regional economic integration and industrialization of Cameroon

The objective of this research is to relate industrialization in Cameroon to economic integration in ECCAS. This study first highlights the implications of the construction and multiplication of regional economic relations and industrialization strategies, and shows that the dynamics of economic integration in ECCAS can propel Cameroon's industrialization. However, low market demand and the low level of technology in ECCAS prevent Cameroon's manufacturing industries from benefiting from economies of scale.
