Stung

By Bethany Wiggins

Book Overview

In this fast-paced dystopian duology for fans of Coldwire and the Shatter Me series, the only antidote to a deadly pandemic is even more dangerous than the disease . . . and there's no cure for being stung.

Fiona doesn't remember going to sleep. But when she opens her eyes, she discovers her entire world has been altered--her house is abandoned and broken, and the entire neighborhood is barren and dead.

Even stranger is the tattoo on her right wrist: a black oval with five marks on either side. She doesn't remember getting it, but something tells her she must keep it hidden at any cost. And she's right.

Years prior, the honeybee population collapsed and caused a worldwide pandemic. The government tried to bio-engineer a cure, only for it to turn people into ferocious, deadly beasts who were branded as a warning to un-vaccinated survivors. Those chosen to rebuild society live within a fortress, protected from disease and monsters. But Fiona has awakened on the wrong side of the wall, branded, and now she must navigate this new dystopian world alone.

Good book

I recommend this book, a must read.

Amazing

I loved this book, it is kinda short so it was a one sit read. I do feel like this is one of those books where the first one is good and then the second plummets downhill.

Great book

This was most definitely a page turner, and the plot twists were unexpected. If you like fast paced books get this one!!

I couldn't put it down!
