This book includes a vehicle noise pollution study of different places from Pune and PCMC area and the effect of noise pollution on the health of human resources. Various zones were selected such as Residential, Commercial, Silence and Industrial. The comparative analysis of these zones was done in order to find out measures towards good human health. Various industrial noise pollution and their direct and indirect effect on labor health is also a prime area. The noise pollution of different festivals such as Ganapati, Navratri and Chaturshrungi fair was also studied with focus on health issues. MIDC areas around Pune were studied for noise pollution and its effect on human health. This survey will be very useful for common people and the quality of their life. The Government of India may also take proper initiatives to keep control on noise pollution.
