Good introductory CJ book, ok for police testing/promotion

This book was recommended for promotion in a police department. The book had a lot of good information but seemed rather rudimentary for promtion in a police department. This book is good for a criminal justice class or someone starting out as a CJ professional or police officer. There aresome things that are obscure and sometimes show up on a test so it's good to know but overall was a review of already know facts and information.
