Abstract: Transduction of a large extra-chromosomal plasmid (315 kb) by bacteriophage P1kc from a host E.coli K12 to a recipient E.coli K12. This phenomenon was detected by by microbial genetic techniques and physical techniques that recovered and measured the entire plasmid in the recipient.
