Good book if you have the solutions manual

I bought this book for self study. It has ton's of examples that really help out. But like some of the other reviewers have pointed out... the book can be extremely confusing at times. That's when i reach for the solutions manual that goes with it. It has a step by step break down of the odd numbered problems. The break down's aren't 100% complete and they skip a lot of the algebra parts, but it shows all the calculus stuff. I wouldn't buy this book unless you get the answers to go with it or you are taking a class that uses this book.
