Not just for kids

I really enjoyed reading this devotional book. It's aimed at kids - giving them a way to study the Bible on their own with short lessons, Bible verses, and simple prayers. A child could easily do these one-page devotions in a fairly short time, but there is the potential of their curiosity being piqued enough to want to look up the story in their Bible to find out more about it. The great thing is that the devotional is in "chronological order" - not necessarily the order in which the Bible puts the stories. You discover when these things took place in a sort of "historical overview" - which makes it interesting for adults, too. For example, as many times as I've read the book of Job, I didn't have a clue where it fit in to the chronology of the Bible. This is a great book!
