Colorful & Easy to Read

Uses a lot of great illustrations, photos and charts. Material is easy to ready and organized in a manner that flows smoothly from topic to topic. I really love the quizzes duriing and at the end of each chapter!

If you need a good physiology book, this one will do. I used it as a supplement to a class I took on anatomy and physiology.

Structure & Function of the Body

This is the MOST readable and helpful book for studying the body. It explains the science understandably. The quizzes at the end of the chapters were very helpful for me to memorize everything.

The basics, clearly defined

I was issued this book as one of many during my paramedic program. It was intended for the anatomy and physiology module of the course, and I could not see a better way to get a quicker grasp and overview of the human body and its systems. This book does a great job of putting every simple and to the point. I have used other books for A & P courses that I've taken in college, which were much thicker and contained more information, but they were much more expensive and more in depth. I enthusiastically recommend this book for anyone needing a fast thorough introduction to the human body. Great Book!
