I love writing It is wonderful, difficult, hard work, exhilarating, therapeutic and aggravating. Everything I've discovered about myself and most other human beings I know. That's what makes it so challenging and so much fun. Putting all those complex pieces of ourselves into stories that we can share and possibly relate to.

'Cause one day, without any intentional purpose, I put some words down in rhyme and from that moment I was hooked. I was thrilled and I still am. It's still me and a blank piece of paper. And, like any relationship, I want to make it as full as possible. But nothing is perfect, and when things get messy, you have to sort out what is important and what is not.

So, this book for me is about trust. It's a journey and it continues every day with over, under, around and through. Within a lyrical context, it is meant to be straight forward and honest. And now that I've arrived, temporarily on the other side, I am honored to share it with you
