Applying the solutions suggested in this book can have greater importance to manage ethnic conflicts and prevent the conflicts from spreading. Many of the problems associated with the concept of ethnicity in Ethiopia is due to lack of balance between group and individual Rights. As discussed throughout the book, the root and triggering causes of the Sidama and Guji-Oromo ethnic conflict is multi dimensional involving political, economic or social factors. In order to manage ethnic conflicts and strike some balance between the rights, implementing the solutions written in this book, among others, have pivotal role. Because they have greater advantage in showing directions for better conflict management and balancing the rights in different respects thereby sustainable peace and stability would occur in multi-ethnic societies like Ethiopia.
