Strictly for My G.I.R.L. is an anthology of poems developing on concepts and ideas of my first book; Focus: A Poetic View, my technique also shows a level of development and sophistication. I may actually be becoming a poet or a writer of some kind. Like I say life is in art. This book is a development of a world already created. To me it's a way of fixing up and improving the person I was yesterday. I hope it's not in vain that I'm showcasing my thoughts and experiences to the world rather a light shining in the darkness for others that don't see the light. Though I believe we should all have our own lights to guide us not everyone had the love of their mother's growing up and though I'm not trying to replace that love or light I'm just trying to show you it's there in the deep and I'm just trying to teach you to capture it before it's too late. It is also important to remember when you light a candle you also create a shadow so as I fight my demons I'm trying to show you our darkness is one and the same, if I can overcome my fears so can you my god.
