I got this book out of our church library and liked it so much I bought a copy! My favorite parts - I love how Swindoll digs into the word and makes it come alive, using and explaining the Greek or Hebrew, adding historical context - all making your time with God more fulfilling...bringing peace to our spirits in a culture of stress. Doesn’t matter that the book is old. These truths still apply today.

Biblical perspective on dealing with stress

I really feel that this book draws the readers focus to the biblical perspective on stress. It deals with both the causes and the solutions to help the reader turn to God and keep stress in perspective. I think it is a valuable tool to assess how you are reacting to stress and how God wants us to react to stress.
