For longer than she can remember, Veronica has been wolf. Dreams give her a name and the image of a brother. Memory gives her nothing and no one. Book Two of the Strength series. One late winter day,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
David Hardway stumbled across a wolf in a trap. He did the only thing he could and rescued the wolf. What David didn't know was the wolf was actually a woman. Veronica didn't remember much and she's trying to figure out why she gave up her human form. She knows she needs help and is hoping to bond with David so he'll take care of her. Can David get over the fact that wolf and woman are one and the same? Will Veronica's past rip them apart before they get a chance to love? The Strength of the Wolfwas a very intriguing story. Jorrie Spencer has a wonderful way of wrapping suspense and mystery together to keep you guessing. The only issue I had with the book was with the character of Link, David's nephew. He was supposed to be a teenager and I felt he was written a lot younger than that. Other than that, Ms. Spencer could do no wrong with this story. The Strength of the Wolf is the second book in Ms. Spencer's series, but can be read as a stand-alone story. I plan on taking a look at the first book in the series and hope it is just as good as The Strength of the Wolf. Jambrea reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed
