romance in 3's

This is the second books in a duo about a man who loved another man, but can't bring himself to let the romance come forth into public life. They fall for a woman and a trianlge forms, until one of the men cannot go one with the romance so he leaves and years later, oops cant give it all up you gotta buy the book and read it yourself. You wont be disapointed.

Hot and Fabulous

I greatly enjoyed "Double Jeopardy" because of the soul links between Kendall, Sutter, and Josh. "Strength" doesn't have that aspect but it does has completely rounded out characters and hot relationships. David finally comes to grips with his own sexuality but puts Joy and Jason through some very difficult times before becoming honest with himself. Brandy's story is a lot more complex and I'm not sure I was comfortable with the rougher side of the story, i.e. Dominants and Submissives and the what had to be very painful BDSM. But this book is a fabulous read and an absolute keeper.

Good Followup

This was a good followup to Double Jeopardy. David's story was sweet and poignant. I enjoyed reading about people older than 20something. I really enjoyed David's story but personally did not like Brandy's story. I enjoy a little bondage but Brandy's story is a little too much for me. If you enjoy stories that involve heavy BDSM, you would probably enjoy this.

Rachel Bo's STRENGTH IN NUMBERS series turned out to be far more intense and involved then I expecte

when I first picked up this series but I've loved every passion-filled page. DANGER IN DISCOVERY David Campbell has spent his adult life as a very lonely man. He works long hard hours as a lawyer and tries to ignore his remembered love for Joy and Jason. Joy and Jason had been David's lovers back in college - never as a ménage. In fact, David had tried to keep his relationship with David a secret but Joy had her suspicions. Joy and Jason are fully aware that David is scared of the emotional attachment he feels for them, but that doesn't stop them from their mission to seduce him into allowing them back into his life. It's obvious that David is not going to cave in to his desire for Joy and Jason on his own, so they get a little inventive and use a homemade video to entice him to join them. It works but then Joy realizes that David is trying to keep his relationship with them secret. Joy and Jason long to be able to publicly show their love for David but he's got longstanding issues and fears that aren't going to be easy to overcome. Joy and Jason aren't interested in being delegated as David's "when it's convenient" lovers - for them, it's all or nothing! Will David ever be willing to risk his professional life for a chance at happiness in his private life? Is there any hope of a happily ever after for this trio? I believe out of all the books in this series, DANGER IN DISCOVERY may very well be my favorite. I developed a real fondness for David in DOUBLE JEOPARDY and couldn't help but wonder why he'd be so closed-minded toward his own son's menage relationship. Rachel Bo delves into his character so that you not only understand him better, but you empathize with his reasoning. Joy and Jason are wonderful characters whose happiness with each other radiates off the pages and yet there's no denying that their love for David is just as strong as their love for each other. BRANDED Brandy Mitchell is frustrated. She's a successful woman who loves her career and adores her friends. In theory she seems to have everything going for her, but something's missing. Brandy longs for the sort of bond that everyone around her seems to be finding but so far she hasn't felt anything but a passing interest in anyone she's dated. Brandy's friends are all involved in menage a trois relationships and she's more than a little envious of the bonds that the trios seem to have. She just can't imagine herself involved in a menage with two men. She'd hoped to meet someone on the cruise who would interest her sexually but the last thing she expects is to find herself attracted to a married couple. Brandy's not a prude and she's quite open-minded but not once has she ever imagined herself being attracted to another woman. She quickly accepts that she desires both Eric and Lin and they have a wonderful time together while on the cruise. It isn't until the cruise is just about over that she discovers who Eric and Lin really are and to make matters

Danger in Discovery

[Note: This review was originally written about the digital version of the first story in this book, Danger in Discovery.] David Campbell is a high-powered lawyer who has always denied his inner nature. When he was in college, he fell in love twice - first with Joy, the woman he wanted to marry, and then with Jason, his male roommate. Due to family pressure, he broke up with both Joy and Jason, and has not seen them for nearly 30 years. However, they have come back into his life due to the efforts he made to break up his son and his son's male and female partners. When his past was revealed, David gave up his efforts to separate the three, and now he enjoys being a grandfather to their children. Now successful professionals, Joy and Jason have come back into his life. In fact, Joy and Jason are in love with each other, and want David to come back to both of them. They have invited him to complete their triad, but David is afraid of what his friends and clients will say. Is David ready to accept his dual desires? This novella is a sequel to Rachel Bo's Strength in Numbers 1: Double Jeopardy, the story of David Campbell's son. I really liked this book. It depicted real people with real problems that are not easily solved by superficial methods. The characters had to look within their hearts and find out why they behaved as they did. I was pleased to see people in their 50s as protagonists, which is quite unusual in erotica - apparently, many think that people over 50 don't have sex! The writing is very touching, and the reader feels the emotions running through each situation. The pacing was quite good with one exception -- I felt the ending was a bit abrupt. This erotic novella contains very explicit menage a trois sex scenes, male/female/male and male/male sex, also oral and anal sex, and the use of sex toys. There is no bondage nor discipline here, just a loving triad. -- Jean, Fallen Angel Reviews (courtesy of Fallen Angel Reviews)
