Encouragement for the weary

I actually already had this book, but bought this copy for a gift for a friend because I think so highly of it. It is a great encouragement for anyone who struggles with facing the reality of having limitations. Really helps you feel validated - not because you're perfect & can do anything, but because you are God's & He has a reason for you just as you are wherever you are. And it's not done in a "preachy" way, but is thoughtful & understanding of the frustration of dealing with chronic difficulties.

Strength for Today

This is a great daily devotionally for chronically ill Christians. I use it and I give it to people I know who are ill and/or in pain long term. I wish they would publish it again.
