Love This Book!!!!

You get a lot of great information from this book. I bought other books, but this book gave me a lot of straight to the point type of information. I didn't have to go through the fluff. Good book that is an easy read.

A sort of Bible for Living the Public Affairs Life

I think this book is wonderful for what it is. It really explains very clearly how to operate from ground zero - and it is not just basic but goes into building the events that will help shape the success of one's organization. It is better than the dummies guide because no stone is left unturned, in fact, that is the glory of this book. IT IS THOROUGH, and while it is no substitute for an MBA in Development, it might be a faithful "reminder" even for them; it certainly is for those of us that run non-profits. I suggest!
