Wonderful series for all ages and sexes!

I love these books and predict this series is going to be a classic - it's no surprise as Mr. Whittle was apparently steeped in Dickens as a child and has only improved on these classics of old. What is remarkable is that this author didn't know he could write until the age of 60. He has certainly made up for lost time! I congratulate him on his brilliance of writing with a new concept - no horrendous and gratuitous sex and violence especially in a book about young people. Truly amazing!! This delightful series features two street waifs who want to change the world, or the world as they know it in 18th C. London. In Streets of Hope, Lizzie and Quon are now 18 years-of-age and Mr. Whittle not only revisits the 'angels' but puts our intrepid pair in dire danger adding a great deal of suspense. This is a sequel not to be missed and parents can be assured, it is totally suitable for their kids no matter what age. Our whole family (men too!) read these books and we're so glad this author's books may now be ordered in stores - we initially met Mr. Whittle at a street market in Victoria, BC - a delightful man! Our family can't wait to read Book Four. Thank you Mr. Whittle.

Whittle's books just get better and better!!

This is the 3rd book in the Lizzie Series, my favourite novels of all time. I eagerly await each new book he writes. I met Mr. Whittle on a visit to Victoria, BC and am so glad his books are now available in bookstores. Mr. Whittle is a fabulous storyteller and a fascinating man. My whole family has read all five of his novels and recommend anything he writes.
