Real Stuff

This was a great read, I couldn't put it down. I read in two days! The only gripe I have is the book was published in 2005 and they leave you hanging. There should be another book by now since I'm just reading it in 2007. Where you at! Get it popping Eric

Good Story, Love to read it again... Edited

4 stars Lamont " Limbo" Adams is a smart street hustler who is good at his game. His wife Elixir has had enough; she gives Limbo a choice, the streets or his family. Limbo can't seem to stop the hustle and when he is sent to jail Elixir files for a divorce. Locked up and feeling the loss of his family Limbo is wide open to game. His boy "Dollar" arranges a visit for Limbo to meet Rhapsody, a pretty white girl who is really the FBI. Rhapsody works her way into Limbo's life and heart. When Limbo is released and plans one more hustle to get his money straight he is blinded by the fact that Rhapsody is gathering evidence that will bring him down harder than he has ever fallen. In the meantime Rhapsody can't help but fall in love with Limbo. Limbo is the man of her dreams. As she struggles with the issues of doing the right thing or following her heart, along comes Keri another agent who is mentally unstable and in love with Rhapsody. Keri wants Rhapsody all to her self and Limbo out of the way. This is a hot story! The action is non stop. You fall in love with street tough Limbo who is charming and dripping with sensuality. You can't help but feel for him knowing that his whole world is about stop at any minute. You will hate Rhapsody and want to knock her silly but at the same time you can't help but feel her some too. You find yourself hoping that they will make it out of this and have a life together. This is excellent street fiction packed with crooked cops, drug dealers and shady friends. The love story in the middle of it all is romantic and so hot and erotic you might need a cold drink while you read it. I give Street Games 4 stars because what I gathered from the story I seriously enjoyed. This would be one of the hottest Street fictions books of the year if it wasn't for the editing. Don't blame the author, he gave an excellent story so full of action and emotions you feel it on the real. Blame the game, Shame on Black Pearl books for printing such a mess. I look forward to reading this again if it should be revised. I'd love to feel all the things that I missed and should have gotten from it. There is really a hot story here. When Limbo makes the wrong decision and it lands him back in prison, Elixir divorces him and things go from bad to worse when the house where Limbo has hid his stash of millions, burns to the ground. While his stint in prison, his cellmate hooks him up with Rhapsody. Rhapsody appears to be the total package: beauty, brains, and a closet freak. But we quickly find out she is NOT what she appears, Rhapsody is really Jayme Johanson: FBI agent who is deep undercover to find enough evidence to put Limbo away for good. While Rhapsody is good at her job, she doesn't count on falling in love with Limbo, as they embark on a relationship following his release from prison. Everyone tries to warn Limbo that something is not quite right about Rhapsody and soon her skeletons begin to fall out of the closet as her psychotic ex-girlfriend and fellow agent Keri pops back into the picture. Keri has a few tricks up her sleeve and it all leads up to a showdown between, Rhapsody, Limbo, and the FBI. Street Games has all of the elements of a great urban drama: drama, suspense, blazing sex scenes, and betrayal. I cannot wait until the sequel comes out. I give this book 5 stars.
