Mercy in a merciless world

Mark Rutland captures God's heart of mercy in this book in a very practical and personal manner. "Streams of Mercy" reflects the need to come to terms with the motive of mercy. There are no "7 steps to a successful ministry". But I believe that Mark has expanded the concept of mercy within a biblical and practical context to challenge any believer, church or ministry in what God's desire is towards those who most need mercy. It is a refreshing and challenging book. It should be required reading for anyone contemplating involvement in mercy ministry. At the very least you will be confronted with the cost of showing mercy, the cost of mercy in a merciless world. At best you come away with a heart closer to God's heart.
