Streams Of Grace: Flowing Through Spirit Inspired Poetry

Here is a bit of a background as to my thinking. The Lord saved me at the age of 14. I came from a broken home, four and a half years in a children's home (orphanage) then back to live with my mom and step-father. I was alone, depressed, etc. I went to a revival service in a Nazarene church and was literally transformed, when the Scripture says we become a "new creation" in Christ, I can testify to that reality. I had often talked in rhyme while in the orphanage as a "fun" thing. But after I was saved the rhythm began to take form. I wrote my first poem.....

My thought is that maybe I could organize my poems in such a way so as to share my journey to encourage others. I share all of this, because if it had not been for a determined young lady, urging me to write I probably wouldn't be doing so today. Quite honestly, I have written more poems in the past ten years than in the 40 years prior. It is exciting to finally find a way to share with others the blessings of the Lord through poetry.
