Strawberry Roan Colt loves living on the farm with his Mother, Father and all the other horses. He is old enough to explore the pasture and barn and meets small animals and other horses who live on the farm. Strawberry Roan Colt even saves a lost Baby horse! A fun book to read with children.Based on a horse I knew a good part of my life who was a beautiful Strawberry Roan. This book has original paintings I did myself and Strawberry Roan is always my model , both from memory and my journals . I also draw horses I am inspired by who I work with currently and animals in my backyard and in nature or on horse farms where I go. I painted the horses and scenery with watercolor and acrylic. The first book, Strawberry Roan Colt's Big Day had oil paintings and acrylic and watercolor. My books are designed to bring the world on the Equestrian farm where I grew up to children today. A wonderful place where you were connected to the Earth, and the horses became a part of you and you learned to relate to them as part of your family. Every day you woke up and took care of them and learned the skills to ride them and guide them in their learning and your own. They have respect for life just as we do, or should.
