Strategies Used in Teaching and Learning Poetry at Secondary Education

This work attempts to review the strategies used in teaching poetry in senior secondary schools in Nkanu Local Government Area of Enugu State. This study is on a review of different strategies used in teaching and learning poetry in senior secondary school in Nkanu Local Government Area of Enugu state. Which is based on the massive failure of senior school student. The author tries to suggest a suitable strategy that can be endorse to enhance effective teaching and learning of poetry in senior secondary school. Therefore, this work is an impressive galaxy of knowledge for student who lack positive attitude towards the learning of poetry. It is also recommended to teachers, curriculum planners, secondary school principals, examination bodies and the public in general.
