Strategies for improving/diversifying sources of income

To compensate for insufficient income or cope with temporary crisis situations, households develop resilience strategies to escape poverty, cope with financial insecurity, reduce risk or take advantage of the wide range of opportunities offered by globalization. Thus, documenting multi-activity and strategies for improving and diversifying sources of income in the case of C te d'Ivoire would contribute to the publication gap on this subject and enable the implementation of poverty reduction policies and appropriate income diversification strategies. Using data from the EHCVM 2018, we constructed a multi-activity and diversification indicator, analyzed the determinants and measured the effects of multi-activity and diversification on household well-being using the Logit model.
