Technique works

I read this book cover to cover and it has changed the way I go about planning my hunting season. Whitetails are big here in Indiana - we don't really have much else, so deer are number one. This guy says that if you want to be average, well just go right ahead. That's where most folks are. But if you want to be really good, you'll think your way through the season and make a commitment to taking big deer. That's where I believe this book really shines. The writer has a process and goes pretty methodically from step to step to taking big, mature deer. I've seen him at some shows and heard him talk and he's pretty convincing. I liked this book a lot and think that I can apply his system very well to what we do here in Indiana.
