The Mountain of Adventure

What a delightful adventure story. The myth of the mountain lion provides a wonderful backdrop. Descriptively written, you can almost picture yourself in the outdoor setting. The romantic element is only a small part of this well-written tale, and there are unexpected elements. This is a modern romance novel, involving a female lawyer who finds herself attracted to an ex-con mechanic. This is a fast paced and enjoyable read. The storytelling includes a number of dichotomies, including past and present, old and young, desire and restraint, and ultimately, freedom and survival. The ending is a bit too sweet, but most readers will probably like that.
