Stories about bravery, fame, dogs in history, wacky pet owners and crazy laws about pets make this a winner for kids or adults. My personal favorite (and it's hard to choose) is about a dog in Washington named Faith. This dog saw her owner fall out of her wheelchair, and Faith then dialed 911 with her nose and barked repeatedly until help arrived. Then Faith opened the door for the police! You just gotta love this book!
