This relatively obscure autobiography is tongue-in-cheek, sweet, tragic and very, very funny. It's been a long time since I've read it, but I do remember that the very first word is profane (the "F" word, to be exact). Edita Morris doesn't sugar-coat anything. She skillfully navigates the reader through her extraordinary life. The ending was a bit disappointing because it was somewhat vague in "wrapping it up", but I guess a writer has to stop somewhere. That's the only criticism I have. You will not put this book down, and you could finish it in a day. READ THIS BOOK. Pass it on.
