The famous fashion model throws a party at her beach mansion.

Magnificent Louise Summerfield, normally called Maggie, is sixteen years old and has been investigating crimes for years. She is invited to attend a fancy fashion soir e in the mansion of Madame Solstice Pepperday and is asked to wear one of the gowns in Madame's new line of clothing, so Maggie essentially becomes a fashion model at this party. The body of a woman is discovered in one of the rooms in the mansion during the party, but this murder makes no sense to Maggie or the police. The murdered woman is barely known by any of the scores of international guests and no real motive can be imagined for such a terrible crime. This will most certainly be an unusual and complicated investigation.
