Great book, easy to read and i love the nclex-test questions with rationals. It was worth buying and has helped me better understand and more importantly to me, pass the test.

Straight A's Medical Surgical Nursing

I used someone else's book who loves it, and is doing well with all the titles going into fourth semester now. It's a quick review of materials using a margin note system for overview, and more detail on that same page. Separated by subject, it's easier to read and find specifics than some review guides that mix up all the subjects. Also good for test review, my friend said the overviews in the marjins were enough to add points at test time. I've just finished first semester with A's. There are other titles I want, I like that it finds what's most important. WE DON'T HAVE TIME IN NURSING SCHOOL TO DO MAJOR READING!! :)
