If life were a straight trail lying before us with no curves, or hills, or valleys, I suppose it might be easier, but it would certainly be rather boring as well. I can admit that while I trudge up some of my hills, and tumble into some of my valleys, I am wishing for a nice level path to leisurely stroll through life. Growth, however, comes through stretching ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and we all want to grow. My hope is that this book will encourage and challenge you to grow in all the ways that count, and move closer to the One who matters most.
