Definitely a motivating book!!

This book will motivate any artist or filmmaker trying to break into the highly competitive Hollywood scene. The author's words of wisdom, and "tricks of the trade" is something not taught in any school. If you want an edge on the competition, pick up a copy of this book!

An inspirational account of breaking into the business.

I'd highly recommend this book to anyone interested in doing storyboards especially if they want to do them for the movie industry. The author tells he how he got into the business - without ever taking an art class! He lets you know what you have to be able to do when you are a storyboard artist and who to contact for work and how. Storyboarding 101 inspired me to get my samples together and send them to Hollywood.

Interesting and Informative...Great Book!!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Fraioli's Storyboarding book and how he applied his intelligence, skills, talent and luck to break into the film industry. As an illustrator myself I can really appreciate the endeavors he went through to sell his talents. I am also a freelance actor/model trying to get my big break, so it was very interesting reading for me I learned a lot!

I am a student studying film, and I hope to be a storyboard artist after college. Recently, an art director friend of mine told me to pick up a copy of Storyboarding 101. This book is incredible! I've learned so much about the visual storytelling process that I'm anxious for summer to end so I can begin working on my next student project.
