Craig "C. D." Thomas is a gifted poet recognized by the National Poets Society as well as the author of the children's story Jahmo and the Giant. Mr. Thomas was born in Detroit, Michigan, and was brought up in the Israel of God's church, which was headed by his late grandfather, the honorable bishop Joseph Thomas. C. D. went on to become a Detroit police officer and is currently a detective with the city's domestic violence unit. Though Detective Thomas has had numerous pulse-pounding adventures as a city cop, even being awarded a Purple Heart, he prefers to share stories for children to enjoy, such as his current book about the story of St. Morris.
