Have always enjoyed some form of creative output. In my teens, I immersed myself with reading all the books that I could. This intense reading played a part in my understanding of life. Vietnam, Watergate, and a magnitude of upheavals in the late 1960s and early 1970s gave me pause to try and understands this time period, hence my imparting such prose. Writing poetry was a great outlet that gave me an opportunity to express myself, however I rarely shared with anyone until now. The poetry is in chronological order. Some of my dreams are more like stories. They have a beginning, a middle and an end. Sometimes they would had such an impact on me that I would wake up in the middle of the night and have an immediate need to write them down. The stories are just that stories; many from my younger days that include snapshots from my life at one time or another.
