Loving The Stoop

In Steve Bernstien's, novel written in a time when South Bronx was called, Fort Apache, Bernstien is the main character giving description to his familial life, with his mother a nurse who had spells of mental ware, his father a fearless alcoholic. A sister who starts to make sense of the ugly mess that is her family and has her own issues, a brother that is born with disabilities, The family aside of having bad episodes with the father, is still redemptive in defining, work as a plumber, and hanging with many impressive names, This story will not disappoint, you will fall in love with the characters, and the emotional areas that chart the stoop as a place you didn't expect to meet
