Winter 1775

General George Washington has just been named Commander in Chief of the Continental Army. His first mission: Drive the British from Boton Harbor.

But how?

Washington's Army doesn't have the firepower to stand up to the mightiest naval fleet in the world. Fortunately, a young bookseller named Henry Knox has joined the fight. In one of the earliest "Stories from the American Revolution," learn how Knox delivered 60 tons of artillery to Washington's army in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and took the British completely by surprise.

Proud American written

How proud our family is of Alex. This is a very good book, well written and illustrated. It is the ideal way to catch the attention of the youthful reader as well as anyone interested in history. The topic, the revolutionary war hero, is timely to our nation's 250th anniversary.
