Stories from my Story

When my younger brother was four or five years old, he would ask me to tell him a bedtime story every night. We didn't have much access to books then, so the only option was to invent stories for him. He would be fascinated with them and he especially liked the "Captain Meteor" ones. This was the early 60's in the rural area where we were raised and I honestly can't remember if I saw such a character on TV or read about him or just invented him. Anyway, that was when my story writing really started, even though none of those stories invented for my brother were ever written. As the years advanced, the stories kept on coming, except now they were in written form. This is a collection of some of my favorites. Most of them are based on real life, real events and real people. Emphasis on "most". Enjoy.
