A quirky, interesting book

This is a fun book to read to get into the "secret lives" of everyday items that we all take for granted. Fun or bizzare facts about such diverse topics as deodorant, license plates, bowling, hospitals, and sandpaper will keep both the young and old reader interested. A beautiful color photo section in the middle shows different perspectives of some more 'everyday things'. A mangified dust mite looks like a moster out of a horror movie. An xray of a seashell becomes a lovely work of art. Other photos illustrate the creativity people apply in creating everyday things in various times and places.
