Breaking free from recurring sin requires more than regret. It requires understanding the patterns that keep pulling us back.
In Book One of Stopping The Cycle Of Sinning, we explored teshuvah-the biblical call to recognize sin, repent, and return to Yehovah. But returning is only the beginning. If the patterns, habits, influences, and responses that helped create the cycle remain unchanged, we can find ourselves fighting the same battles again.
Book Two: Breaking the Patterns That Keep Us Bound moves from recognizing the cycle to confronting what keeps it alive.
This book examines the spiritual and practical patterns that can hold believers captive. It challenges us to look beyond the moment of failure and ask deeper questions: What keeps feeding this behavior? What situations make us vulnerable? What habits need to change? What relationships, thought patterns, or environments continue to pull us backward? And how do we replace an old pattern with a new way of walking?
Scripture does not call us merely to keep apologizing for the same failures. Yehovah calls us to transformation-to learn obedience, renew our thinking, exercise wisdom, establish new patterns, and walk in the freedom He has provided.
You do not have to spend the rest of your life going around the same mountain.
The cycle can be broken.
