It has become the in thing for the Christian to see the hands of the Devil in practically everything that happens to us in this generation. When things are not going well with us, we see Satan as the cause. A man went to steal and when he is caught, we say it is the devil that caused it. When a young girl aborts a pregnancy and dies in the process, we blame the devil. Even when a former poor Christian is blessed, we praise the devil instead of God Almighty when we began to look at such a Christian with disdain as having joined the cult group, do money rituals, 419 and such negativity.
