Stone Soup brings to life the culinary history of Grayson County, Texas through its recipes and related stories. As Frontier Village and Museum celebrates fifty years, its goal is to embrace the past as it continues to grow in spirit and educational opportunities, giving Grayson County a proud legacy. Founded in 1971, Frontier Village and Museum is a 501(c))3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and public education of the rich history and heritage found in Grayson County, Texas. Frontier Village is situated on 17 acres and encompasses eighteen structures. The Museum houses numerous artifacts and changes displays every few months. Stone Soup is independently published and all proceeds go toward the operation and maintenance of the Village and Museum.
