Practical Magic

As a master carpenter within a family of masons, I had little time or inclination to take up knuckle bashing (stonemasonry). As I got older and longed for a more substantial home for my growing family, I turned to a well reccomended tome, 'Stone Houses' to help me hone my stonecrushing skills. (it's not everyone that can take a $200 piece of stone and turn it into 2 cents worth of gravel!)I still refer to my dog eared copy today.
