I found this book to be very informative on Native American collections along the Columbia River. It tells the method used to make the items in the book and describes what they were used for. Because of this book I visited the Sacajawea Museum in Pasco, Washington where at one time was a great Native American camp, and I also visited Fort Walla Walla, which was very interesting. There are many quotes from Lewis and Clark's journal of their passing through this area which are fascinating. For someone interested in the history of the region, this is the best book I have come across.
