R.K. "Dick" Williams has been flying since 1972 and has amassed close to 20,000 flight hours, with almost half of those hours in wilderness terrain. Almost half of that grand total has also been single-pilot, and most of those without autopilot. Although his favorite aircraft remains the Dehavilland Twin Otter, which he calls The Ambassador (because of the opportunities he had to share it with other pilots and friends) the Super Cub remains in his top five of over 160 aircraft makes and models flown.
