Who do you become when your life's work is ripped from your grasp?
Ivy, master cat-burglar, takes a tumble on a job. For most thieves, this would be a temporary setback, but due to worsening symptoms of her hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Ivy's prognosis is far less optimistic. With no ability to continue in her past life and no desire to leave her passion behind, Ivy sees only one option: take on a prot g to pass on her knowledge.
Far from her life of calculated dangers, Ivy now faces waning mobility, regular encounters with ableists, and a flippant mentee who doesn't seem to grasp the dangers of cat-burglary. In a world that is constantly slipping from her grasp, how can Ivy possibly take control of her new life?
