I thought stolen children was the best book ever.My favorite part was when Amy was in the car looking for the gun and she couldn't find it.So she had to go back in the house and find it but she had a hard time finding the gun. Then when she found it she had to hide it.And for some odd reason she threw it in the outhouse.Peg Kehret is a really good story writer.

The best book I've Read

I loved this book and finished it in 2 days!! It was very suspensful I couldn't read it at night or I'd get nightmares of being kidnapped myself. I love all of Peg Kehret's books that I've read so far and want to read more in my future starting as soon as I find some which I already have. I also recomend Abdunction I also started that yesterday and finished it this afternoon not being able to stop reading on my way to school and right before it started love all of her books!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Best Book I've Read In A Long Time

I am only twelve years old, so what I got out of this book may be different then others. This book was amazing, and had a great ending. (I hate stories that don't have happy endings!)The author, Peg Kehret, is an amazing writer with the ability to create a terrific book by mixing together crime solving, babysitting, and mystery. I started this 164 page book two days before I finished it, because I could hardly put it down. Her characters are truly dynamic and mind-boggling. I would most definetly recommend this book to any girl, and maybe even some boys, between the ages of eleven and thirteen. You are honestly missing out on a lot if you choose not to read it.

A fine thriller

Peg Kehret's STOLEN CHILDREN tells of a babysitter faced with an unlikely situation when two baby-nappers show up. When Amy tries to prevent the kidnapping, they take her too - and she has only a few days to either escape or get help. A fine thriller tells of a spunky girl's resourcefulness against all odds.

Alishia's Thoughts

I think "Stolen Children" was a great book! I couldd'nt stop reading it and I was so excited to read the next chapters that I couldn't wait to read it the next day. Peg Kehret did a very nice job of telling a suspenseful story. I hope she keeps up the good work! My favorite part was when the babysitter tricked the kidnappers by sending clues in the videos to her family. Alishia Bright.
