It is around 1938 when German leaders begin formulating a plan to create an Aryan race of blonde, blue-eyed Germans. As a result, over one hundred thousand babies are kidnapped or snatched from their loving parents in Poland, adopted by German parents who are told to keep their identities secret, and forcibly "Germanised" by the end of the Second World War. It is 1991 and Adam Shultz is the ambitious founder of a wind turbine company who lives in a flat in Berlin with his longtime girlfriend, Anna. One morning when two American journalists appear in his office to purportedly interview him about his company, Adam has no idea that his world is about to be turned upside down. When the journalists inform him that he was one of the stolen babies and that his birth mother is still alive and living on a farm near Krakow, Poland, Adam eventually sets out on a quest to learn the truth about his origin. If their assertion proves to be accurate, what will happen to Adam's life now? Stolen Children is a tragic tale of pain and love as a successful German of Aryan heritage is confronted with the shocking possibility that he might be Polish nearly fifty years after the conclusion of the Second World War.
